Choosing an NFC tag type and what each tag type withstands
Spotilla® basic tags (A and B series)
Spotilla basic tags are labeled, multi-purpose NFC tags. These Tags are also resistant to outdoor air in Finnish conditions but not much physical exertion. The tags are protected from dust and splash water. Tags can be used on almost any surface - including metallic ones. These tags are flexible so they can be attached to even a slightly convex surface. A and B series are in use e.g. in factories, vehicles, real estate etc. Operating temperature -25C -> + 70C, no long-lasting UV protection (class IP54).
The appearance of the tags can be customized to your liking.
Logos, colors and prints freely definable.
Spotilla® tags for heavy duty (D and P series)
Heavy Duty Tags can withstand almost any condition in which Spotilla can be utilized. It withstands physical stress well and is dustproof and can withstand continuous immersion in water - even seawater. The tag also has UV protection. It also withstands heat better than the A and B series. Also resistant to some chemicals (more information in the tag collection). The P-series has a hard surface and is attached with a sticker to a straight and flat surface, the D-series with either a sticker or a screw or bob rivet. Operating temperature -25C -> + 85C. (IP68)
The look of these tags can also be customized to your liking, but a hard, screw-on D-Series tag cannot be QR-coded. Logos, colors and prints freely definable.
Spotilla® Metal-sealed seal (K-series) for very heavy loads
The very heavy-duty metal-attached tags are dust-tight and can withstand continuous immersion in water - even seawater. The tag has UV protection. Used, for example, in concrete stations, construction sites and other sites where the tag is subjected to particularly severe physical stress, such as hard abrasion. Operating temperature: -25C- + 50C (IP 68)
